WELCOME TO INVISABLE
We are here to show chronic illness in a positive light
In 2016, inVISABLE was founded by Samantha Konigsberg, a chronically ill teenage girl. She believed the chronically ill community needed, and lacked, a place to share stories and connect with others going through similar struggles. inVISABLE is the first social media platform for the chronically ill community to join together as one. Here at inVISABLE we believe that standing together and having support from peers is the best medicine anyone can receive.
WHO WE ARE
inVISABLE’s name is threefold
1. Illnesses can make you feel invisible, especially when the illness itself is INVISIBLE.
2. One of inVISABLE’s goals is to make chronic illnesses VISIBLE to the world.
3. Having a chronic illness does not mean you are disabled or incapable. You are ABLE!
inVISABLE's instagram page is a place to inspire, and be inspired. We are here to show illness in a positive light, break stigmas, and display our chronic pride. All teens and young adults who suffer from chronic illness are welcomed to have their story featured. Above all, inVISABLE is a safe, loving, and supportive community that wants to see all the amazing things you have achieved despite your illness.
